Yvonne I Lee - Nuneaton author of fantasy novels for youth and young at heart

Yvonne Lee is now based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire but was born in Swindon, Wiltshire, the eldest of three children.  From a young age Yvonne's greatest joy was to curl up with a good book and, over time, she naturally progressed to writing.

At the age of ten Yvonne Lee ambitiously  attempted her first novel but quickly gave up. However, the seed was planted and in the coming years, between a successful singing career, Yvonne continued to put pen to paper culminating in The Shadowed Valley and a few other titles.

Yvonne Lee has been writing seriously now for around six years, specializing in Fantasy novels, her first novel was published in 2008 and her second in 2009, both publications having a measure of success.  In recent years Yvonne has had short stories and articles published in the national press.

Yvonne Lee's new novel  The Shadowed Valley is due to be released towards the end of September 2011. This is a story about a young girl called Celia who finds herself on a terrifying journey with no previous memory or knowledge of her life before.  She is forced to face the horrors in the land of Dauthas as she journeys to the shadowed valley, where she will find the doorway to her world.
